After delivering her Personal Order Art piece, I asked her to share her thoughts.
Her Thoughts After the Art Arrived
"For me, art is a symbol of what I feel, and a place — a presence — I can always return to.
For entrepreneurs, business owners, artists — everyone working so energetically — I think it's really important to have something visible that lets you return to the origin of your feelings, any time you look at it.
I feel it's truly something that energy wells up from.
In that sense, receiving a one-of-a-kind piece of art that drew out my own heart and carried my feelings fully within it means an enormous amount to me.
Right now, there's one behind nao, and I also have mine at hand,and I truly feel it's “art that symbolizes my own feelings.”
This is, honestly, a treasure.I'm truly grateful that nao gave me a treasure like this."

When you visit homes abroad, there's always art displayed everywhere, isn't there?
I've always thought I'd love for Japan to become more of a culture that enjoys art too.
Going forward, AI will take on more and more, and people will be able to let go of work they don't need to do themselves.
Time, and room in our hearts, will keep opening up.
In that future, I believe art, philosophy, and feeling will be valued even more.
That's exactly why —as one of the first in “a world that enjoys art,” I really want many people to pick up nao's paintings and display them,that's how I feel."
What Left the Deepest Impression
"This time, the process was that through conversation with nao, her inspiration took shape, became art, and then arrived along with an accompanying message explaining it.
That message was truly wonderful.
Honestly, I felt, “This will become a treasure of the heart for everyone.”
The feelings we want to hold dear, the image of the future, the words that become our axis as we move forward.
That kind of “important message” is packed inside in such a beautiful form.

Where does that energy come from? I think it's ultimately “your own feelings,” and the “words” that weave them together.

Especially since it's something you keep for a long time, having paper like washi — paper that carries energy — matters.

She read my own aura and painted a piece that exists nowhere else in the world — every time I see it, I feel calm. I also ordered one as a gift for a friend; she cared deeply about my feelings toward the person I was giving it to, and about that person themselves, and painted a wonderful piece. Sharing that order with my friend for the first time was a lovely experience, and I've ordered again since.

The real thing truly is wonderful — genuinely healing. The illustration is so lovely that I've become a fan. It became my one and only Christmas present. Some of the models who come to my place ask to see the piece too — I think it heals them. It heals me too.
