"原点回帰gentenkaiki(going back to the starting point)"

とある展示会に出品した作品です。

その展示会の規約は額装必須。しかし私はその展示会搬入、受付当日、作品の後ろに釘をつけ紐で壁に掛けられるようにしただけでした。私は恥ずかしさと、ちょっとしたパニックになり立ち尽くしてしまいました。ところが、その会場にいたスタッフさんたちが「誰か額縁余ってない？」「この絵なら白い額縁がいいんじゃない？」などとアイディアをくれたり助けてくださいました。

受付終了までまだ時間があったので、スタッフさんが紹介してくださった画材屋さんに、私は急いで額縁を買いに行きました。

その直前、スタッフさんの一人が「ちょっと貸して」と、私の絵の周りに黒いガムテープを貼ってくれました。「白い額縁ならこの方が映えるから」

そして会場のスタッフさん、画材屋さんのお陰で無事展示会に出品することが出来ました。そんなエピソード込みの作品です。

この作品メッセージは、この絵をご覧なってくださった方それぞれに、お好きなように解釈、受け取っていただけたら嬉しいです。

後日、この作品を出品した展示会を見に行った時、なんととある賞をいただいた事が判明しました。、、絵の周りに黒いガムテープを貼っている方は一人もいませんでしたけどね。笑

この絵を見るたびに、お世話になったスタッフさんたちの事を思い出しほっこり幸せな気持ちになります。ガムテープは普通のガムテープなので、経年劣化をしていくと思いますが、それ含めてのこの作品の完成かなと考えています。

とても有難い体験と、助けていただいたご恩を忘れずに、これからも学び、楽しく絵を続けていきたいと思った出来事でした。

This work was entered in an exhibition.

The exhibition's rules required that the work be framed. However, on the day I arrived at the exhibition and accepted the work, I simply put a nail in the back of the work so that it could be hung on the wall with a string. I stood there, embarrassed and a little panicked.

But the staff there asked me, "Does anyone have any extra frames? "Wouldn't a white frame be better for this painting? They gave me ideas and helped me out.

There was still time before the registration closed, so I rushed to the art supply store that the staff had introduced to me to buy a frame.

Just before that, one of the staff members asked me to lend him a piece of black duct tape and put it around my painting.

It would look better in a white frame."

And thanks to the staff at the venue and the art materials shop, I was able to successfully exhibit my work at the exhibition.

This work includes such episodes.

I would be happy if the message of this work could be interpreted and received by each person who sees this picture in any way they like.

I found out later when I went to see the exhibition where this work was exhibited that it had won an award. LOL!

Whenever I see this painting, I remember the staff members who took care of me and make me happy and dusty.

The gummed tape is just ordinary gummed tape, so it will probably deteriorate over time, but I think that is part of what makes this work complete.

It was a very gratifying experience and an event that made me want to continue to learn and enjoy painting without forgetting the debt of gratitude for the help I received.
