We are all light, born carrying the wishes of many generations. Sorrow and joy, meetings and partings: all are heaven's arrangement for the soul to remember its true radiance. The love we felt for someone, the memories of the life we have lived, the kindness we have given to this world: none of it ever disappears. It becomes particles of light, racing through time and spreading into the future.
Concept & Background
For "those who have lived cherishing a heart that cares for others" and "those who believe their life connects to someone's future." We never live alone; we walk through life carrying countless loves, wishes and memories.
Technique, Color & Expression
Layering colors again and again, centered on yellow-green, gold and pale cherry-blossom pink, I expressed the sense of light melting into space and spreading. The countless particles of color spread across the canvas symbolize the love, gratitude, memories and wishes a person meets in life.
Intention
A person's life is not complete on its own. The kindness we direct toward someone eventually becomes another person's hope, and is passed on further into the future.
