Dr. Kaneda of KANEDA Acupuncture & Massage in Kaminoyama ― a human power spot

In Kaminoyama, Yamagata, there is a clinic called KANEDA Acupuncture & Massage.

Its director, Dr. Kaneda, is like a mentor in life to me.

My painting hangs in the clinic.

Real skill that lives up to your hopes

When we pay for bodywork or massage, many of us go hoping it will work, or that the place that hurts will feel better.

Dr. Kaneda's treatment lives up to that hope. For me, it truly brought relief.

After a visit my body feels lighter, and even my body's lines change. Perhaps because the healing is so strong, I always feel very sleepy afterwards.

Dr. Kaneda holds Japanese national licences in anma massage and shiatsu, acupuncture and moxibustion. Every treatment is given by Dr. Kaneda himself.

Another feature of the clinic is that your posture is checked with images, so you can compare before and after with your own eyes.

Besides the clinic in Kaminoyama, he also offers home visits, bringing a treatment bed with him.

Dr. Kaneda is a wonderful person, too.

When I want to talk, he listens carefully. He has given me many encouraging words.

He is warm and kind, and his power to embrace people is remarkable.

It is often said that the ability to listen and to support others matters more and more. Dr. Kaneda has both.

To me he is like the sun, or a great tree. He is someone I hope you meet in your life.

The clinic is full of anime and manga.

Dr. Kaneda loves manga, especially One Piece, and figures are on display too.

If you love manga and anime, you may enjoy it so much that you forget whether you came for treatment or for a chat.
