Concept & Background
This piece grew out of the feeling that time spent thinking of someone precious is filled with happiness — cherishing someone so deeply that your mind fills up like a field of flowers. I expressed that energy of love as color, filling the entire canvas.
Technique, Color & Expression
I layered acrylic paint again and again, scattering bright pinks, yellows, greens, and blues to create a texture that seems to shimmer softly with light. The light, vivid atmosphere throughout was composed so the viewer could visually experience "a time of love that makes you happy just by thinking of it."
