止まっていたものが再び動き出す生命の起動音のように、エネルギーが上昇し始める力強いパルスを表現しました。重なり合う色彩は内側の混乱ではなく、大いなる流れとつながる感覚、そしてその中で自分が再生していく確かな気配を帯びています。
Technique, Color & Expression
強く立ちのぼる白い光は、内側で眠っていた力が呼び覚まされ、魂が再び立ち上がる瞬間を象徴しています。その輝きは、命がもう一度前へと進み始める鼓動として画面全体に広がっています。
制作にあたって
人が本来持つ生命力・再生力・自己回復の力を呼び覚ましたいと願いながら制作しました。誰かに支配されることも、自分自身の影に飲まれることもなく、ただ自分の命を最大限に生きるための光を取り戻すこと。その瞬間こそが、アセンション、すなわち命が上昇し、次のステージへと進む動きです。
作品の前に立つ方が、自分の中で眠っていたエネルギーが再び巡る感覚を思い出し、もう一度、人生の歯車を自分の手で回し始めるきっかけとなりますように。

What grows after hardship
The strong white light rising in "Life of Ascension" represents the moment when a strength that had been sleeping within is awakened, and we rise once again.
In psychology there is a concept called "post-traumatic growth," proposed in the 1990s by the American psychologists Richard Tedeschi and Lawrence Calhoun. It describes how people who have gone through great difficulty or painful events can grow psychologically as they face that suffering.
Growth appears in five forms
Tedeschi and Calhoun explain that this growth can appear in forms such as:
- feeling a deeper connection with others
- noticing new ways of living and new possibilities
- sensing one's own inner strength
- a deeper appreciation for being alive
- deeper thoughts about what matters and the meaning of life
Of course, it would be better never to suffer. But even while carrying what has already happened, people can find new light from there. This idea has given hope to many.
The color white
The white at the center of this painting has long been treasured in Japan as a color of purity and new beginnings: the robes of Shinto priests, the white paper streamers at shrines, the white worn at the new year and at life's milestones.
White is also the color in which all colors of light come together. A life that has gathered many experiences rises once more with a fresh heart — I put that image into the white light.
Forward, once again
The strength a person is born with never disappears. Sometimes it is only sleeping.
I hope that whenever you see the white light of this painting, you feel the strength quietly trying to rise within you.
