Concept & Background
Even when the noise around us clouds our vision and the light becomes hard to see, that fountain is always there, continuing to well up with hope and possibility. This painting carries a prayer that the viewer will listen closely to their own voice and find the courage to step into the future.
Technique, Color & Expression
I layered acrylic paint so that strong orange and yellow light seems to well up from deep blues and greens. Like an orchestra, the interplay of colors was meant to express the harmony of many different emotions and possibilities.
