Concept & Background
Eras shift, and the world constantly changes its shape. And yet, within our lives, there is something that certainly was not ours alone from the start — it has been passed down to us: the DNA etched into our bodies, what we inherited from our ancestors, and the culture and sensibilities nurtured over long years.
Technique, Color & Expression
Across the piece, colors that evoke the heat of life — red, orange, yellow, green, blue — are layered upon one another. Rather than erasing each other, the different colors overlap, blend, and influence one another, each growing more vivid in the process.
Creative Intent
"What is it that pulses within me?" When life answers the resonance found there, the way one exists begins to change, and that change eventually connects to the flow of the world in which one lives.
